Growing up with 12 dogs definitely made me into the person I am today. On my second year of high school, I knew I had to pursue my dreams in working and caring for them. I started as a kennel tech and eventually worked my way up until I was assisting in surgical orthopedic surgeries as a veterinary technician.

I've worked at Animal Emergency Center, Sierra Veterinary Specialist, and Klaich Animal Hospital here in Reno. I attended Truckee Meadows Community College and worked alongside a groomer for 2 years and got the experience I needed to start up my own clientele.

I am very passionate about making my clients pets look superb and leaving my shop smelling good. Being a great believer that hard work pays off, I am thankful that my husband and I are fortunate enough to financially have our own dog daycare, grooming, and boarding facility here in the heart of midtown Reno, NV.

Pet Specialist | Allison

I have had many jobs before this one, but never one so fulfilling. I have always had a passion and deep connection for pets, from reptiles to wild animals. I found my niche and get to work with it everyday. Even though I'm new to Uncle Fredie's, I have over two years of pet experience.
I also have two Skinny Pigs, a rescued Pomeranian-Yorkie mix and a whole bunch of fish tanks. I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and graduated from Sparks High School. I love to read, write, camp, play video games and cook. 
My favorite breeds are German Short Haired Pointers and Miniature Italian Greyhounds. My dream pet is a Giant African Land Snail and one day I hope to be able to open my own Small Animal Rescue.
